Responsibilities

Hamilton is seeking a Production Operator (Swing Shift) to work with our team. They will preform various tasks associated with the manufacture of products. The Production Operator will be responsible for the producing defect-free parts using tools/ and/or equipment that can include hand tools, measurement instrument, small non-automated benchtop equipment. Production Operators will need a keen eye for detail and quality while working in a fast paced environment.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform routine production duties and preventative maintenance
  • Adherence to product quality standards and procedures
  • Work in a production environment assembling medical devices
  • Interact effectively with all support groups and fellow employees
  • Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructions
  • Use of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery
  • Assemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas.
  • Experience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructions.
  • Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools.
  • Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework.
  • Basic math required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting parts.
  • Requires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
  • Proven experience with safe production practice.
  • Stable work history.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion preferred.
