Responsibilities

The Product Support Specialist is responsible for day-to-day technical/sales support for the assigned product line and assists the Product Manager with strategic tasks and projects that promote the long-term, sustainable growth of the assigned product portfolio. 

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the assigned product line and front-line point of contact for all product-related questions from internal and external sources.
  • Conduct sales and service trainings within the organization and with associated channels/partners. Includes performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Review product order configurations as needed.
  • Assist the Product Manager in day-to-day activities driving revenue growth—i.e. pricing analysis, competitive technical comparisons and customer complaint documentation
  • Work with the Product Manager to identify new market opportunities, develop and launch new products, and manage the existing portfolio.
  • Work with group to develop customer-facing product marketing materials.
  • Attend internal and external training for product strategy and development.
  • Assist with the development and execution of product line business plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to use software systems to complete assigned tasks (e.g., MRP/ERP, SAP/Oracle, CRM, Hubspot, Salesforce).
  • Demonstrate strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Possess great time management skills.

Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with product support and management preferred (2-5 years).

Additional Information

  • Anticipated salary range is $50,000 - $95,000/year.
