Responsibilities

Hamilton Robotics is seeking a Field Service Specialist to join our Robotics team, supporting, repairing and maintaining robotic instrumentation. The ideal candidate will live and work in the supported Japan territory.

As a Field Service Specialist with Hamilton Company, you will be tasked with providing high quality customer support through instrument installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Responsible for new equipment installation.　新規機器のインストール
• Perform preventative maintenance.　トラブル予防メンテナンスの実施
• Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.　ハミルトン社製機器のトラブルシューティングと修理
• Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.　 機器の不具合についての問題報告、根本的原因の分析
• Regular commute to and from customer sites with ability to navigate within the region. Must follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves, ensuring on-time arrival at customer sites.　顧客先への定期的な通勤、担当地域内の移動が可能であること。交通法規を遵守し、正確なルートで時間通りに顧客先を訪問すること。

Qualifications　資格

• Demonstrated experience working in the field as well as corporate setting.　現場及び企業内での実務経験がある
• Ability to train non-technical personnel on highly technical material.　非技術者に対し、高度な専門技術をトレーニングする能力がある
• Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner necessary due to potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals.　 危険な化学物質や生物学的物質を扱う可能性があるため、安全性を意識して仕事をする能力と意欲がある
• Ability to learn new robotic operating systems.　 新しいロボットオペレーティングシステムを習得する能力がある
• The FSE must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License. フィールドサービスエンジニアは現在有効な運転免許証を保有し、維持しなければならない。

Education/Experience　学歴/職務経歴

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited, not-for-profit university preferred. 　正式認可をうけている非営利の大学で関連分野の学士号を取得していることが望ましい。

Or

• The equivalent combination of an Associates, Vocational, Technical/Trade, or equivalent degree/certificate and at least two years of technical experience working in an electronic/electrical engineering environment with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.　 契約社員？、職業訓練、技術／専門、または同等の学位／資格と、電子／電気工学環境で少なくとも2年間の技術経験を有し、電子、電気、機械、コンピュータシステムのトラブルシューティングの能力を証明できること。

Experience:　経験

• Experience in technical field service and working with customers in the life science, clinical, or pharmaceutical field is preferred.　ライフサイエンス、臨床、製薬分野の顧客向けに技術的なフィールドサービスを行った経験があることが望ましい。
• Experience in automation or similar field is required.　 自動化または類似分野の経験必須。

• Fluency in both English and Japanese, written and spoken, is required.  英語と日本語の両方、書き言葉と話し言葉の両方に堪能であることが必要です。

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs(27.5kg).　 約60ポンド(27.5kg)の重量物の持ち上げ、運搬、押し引き、その他の方法で移動させる能力があること。
