Responsibilities

The Human Resources System Administrator & Developer is responsible for all HR systems and technology. This includes the planning, implementation, administration, maintenance, and integration of HR technology. The Human Resources Administrator & Developer is also responsible for department analytics and reporting. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Functions as the subject matter expert for PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Independently implement, configure, and set up HR modules in new implementation of PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Write APIs to integrate PeopleSoft HCM with internal and external systems. 
  • Administer HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards. 
  • Write custom reports and scripts to support audit and reporting requirements. 
  • Develop, maintain, and implement technology (Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Asana) to improve and automate processes and communication. 
  • Partner with IT to integrate HR technology into current company technology infrastructure (calendar, email, teams, D365, PeopleSoft Payroll, etc.).
  • Support data maintenance and audits as necessary. 
  • Other HR tasks and projects as needed. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft HR and Payroll (performance management, benefits administrator, self-service, etc.).
  • Extensive experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Query. 
  • Familiar with portal technology (benefits vendors, etc.), workflows, and integration broker. 
  • Skills in developing reports & visual dashboards including the use of extract, transform, load (ETL) processes. 
  • Knowledge in SQL administration and development. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and take solution ownership. 
  • Strong project management skills including tracking, documentation, and reporting of progress. 
  • Professional demeanor, strong discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, human resource management, or related disciple from a regionally accredited not-for-profit college or university. 
  • Five (5) years of experience with the most recent version of PeopleSoft HCM, Prefer experience in both the technical and functional aspects of PeopleSoft. 
  • Experience as a member of the human resources department preferred. 
  • Experience in biotechnology, manufacturing, or related industry preferred.
