Responsibilities

Hamilton Company is currently seeking a Product Specialist Intern for Laboratory Solutions. The intern will be responsible for translating and creating liquid handling methods on Hamilton’s ML Prep from manual workflows. The Intern will run the methods manually and on the ML Prep to ensure equivalency.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have biology and/or biochemistry laboratory experience
    • Experience with basic laboratory equipment (E.g. adjustable hand pipettes)
  • Must have experience running PCR or NGS methods manually
  • Able to interpret and analyze laboratory method data, generate graphs, and visually communicate test results
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Education/Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or Biology program at University of Nevada, Reno.
