Responsibilities

 

As a member of the Center of Excellence, the IT Business Analyst – Finance provides Level 2 support to business areas responsible for the following functional areas:

  • Finance Department including:
    • General Ledger
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Cost Accounting
    • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Tax
    • Audit

Specific Programs, ISVs, modules responsible for:

  • CCH Sales Tax
  • ExFlow
  • Asset Management 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Provide configuration support within the D365 solution for the business areas responsible for.
  • Work with subject matter experts and key users, creates functional design documents for customizations requested to the D365 solution.
  • Assists subject matter experts and key users in creating test data and conducting tests for changes to configuration for D365 solution to assure the D365 solution performs to specification.
  • Supports subject matter experts in developing user instructions to enable end users to perform assigned business processes.
  • Performs analysis to determine inefficiencies in system performance.

Qualifications

  • High degree of standard business practices understanding (i.e., Procure to Pay, Order entry to cash receipt).
  • Proven performance in both written and verbal user related communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP solutions preferred.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work successfully with cross functional teams.
  • Critical thinking and data analysis skills.

Education/Experience

  • BS Degree in Computer Information Systems or in a relevant business area is required.
    • Internal Candidates may provide evidence of proven functional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with D365 Finance and Operations.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Teams).

Preferred Experience:

  • Certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP)
